Who We Are

We are a non-violent organization dedicated to stopping abortions.  We are a chapter of Oregon Right to Life and abide by their rules.  To view the ORTL policy, click here.

What We Do

We hold monthly meetings at 7 pm on the first Thursday of every month at St. John Lutheran Church, 2142 NE McDonald Lane in McMinnville, behind Staples. Our meetings are open to everyone.  We welcome new faces and new ideas

Some of us hold signs which protest abortion.  Our signs say things such as “abortion kills children,” abortion is not health care,” and "adoption not abortion."

Besides maintaining the www.ycrtl.org website, we have recently gone to public-access TV with a pro-life show called “Woman to Woman”.  This outstanding talk program is produced by Oregon Right to Life.  Google McMinnville Community Media for the times.

In 2010, we hope to have pro-life booths at two local fairs—Who’s On Third? and the Yamhill County Fair. These booths are our most important outreach.  Fundraisers such as bazaars, garage sales, and banquets finance the fair booths.

We also pray in front of Planned Parenthood monthly and support the Oregon Right to Life and the National Life Chain activities and events.
